Registration and successful testing must be done prior to being assigned. Official's registration for 2021 season is open as of July 3, 2021. Must register before October 15, the registration fee is $65. Registration info is on the Official's home page on the UHSAA site. UHSAA Official's Info The test can be reached through your Arbiter portal.

High school volleyball officials should complete a rating every three years. This training and rating is provided by the Utah Volleyball Officials Training Academy in June or July. Each official must also join one of the three associations. Officials will be assigned to schools in the area represented by the association of which they are a member. Each association will have a monthly meeting during the high school season. Attending all of these meetings are mandatory for officials to be assigned to post season play.
It is best practice to block out any dates early in the season. It's always better to block out a date than to decline an assignment.
